The first NDC submission of Samoa contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (44%) and SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (31%). For SDG 7 contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (75%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (25%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (15%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (15%). For SDG 17 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (21%) and Target '17.5 Promote investment in least developed countries' (21%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Financial resource mobilization' (19%) and 'Investment in Least Developed Countries (LDCs)' (19%).

The updated NDC submission of Vanuatu contributes the most to SDG 15 'Life on Land' (15%) and SDG 2 'No Hunger' (12%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (42%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (27%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Forest management' (26%) and 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (11%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (82%) and Target '2.5 Maintain genetic diversity and traditional knowledge' (12%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Improved livestock resilience' (20%) and 'Food production' (15%).
