The first NDC submission of Eswatini contributes the most to SDG 6 'Clean Water and Sanitation' (20%) and SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (20%). For SDG 6 the highest contributions relate to Target '6.4 Increase water-use efficiency and sustainable withdrawal - reduce water scarcity' (70%) and Target '6.5 Implement integrated water resource management' (20%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Efficient use of water' (20%) and 'Water supply' (20%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (79%) and Target '7.1 Access to affordable, reliable and modern energy for all' (14%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (32%) and 'Bioenergy' (18%).

The updated NDC submission of Eswatini contributes the most to SDG 2 'No Hunger' (13%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (13%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (38%) and Target '2.1 End hunger in all its forms' (31%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Improved food security' (21%) and 'Food production' (21%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (21%) and Target '15.5 Halt loss of habitat and biodiversity, and prevent species extinction' (21%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (35%) and 'Biodiversity protection' (22%).
