For SDG 11 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (33%) and Target '11.3 Inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participatory planning' (22%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Reduction of loss and damage from climate impacts' (21%) and 'Public transport access' (21%). For SDG 2 contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (90%) and Target '2.1 End hunger in all its forms' (10%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Climate-smart and sustainable agriculture' (44%) and 'Improved livestock resilience' (33%).

The updated NDC submission of Costa Rica contributes the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (18%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (12%). For SDG 13 the highest contributions relate to Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (39%) and Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (33%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Adaptive capacity enhancement' (22%) and 'Mainstreaming' (22%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.9 Integrate ecosystem values into national policy planning' (33%) and Target '15.5 Halt loss of habitat and biodiversity, and prevent species extinction' (28%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Forest management' (22%) and 'Biodiversity protection' (19%).
