The first NDC submissions of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) contribute the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (18%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (14%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (55%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (30%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (18%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (13%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (55%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (19%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Afforestation' (14%) and 'Deforestation prevention' (13%).

For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (51%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (39%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (23%) and 'Energy efficiency' (18%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (70%) and Target '2.3 Increase agricultural productivity for small-scale producers' (20%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Climate-smart and sustainable agriculture' (20%) and 'Increased agriculture productivity' (13%).
