The first NDC submission of The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (58%) and SDG 11 'Sustainable Cities and Communities' (16%). For SDG 7 contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (61%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (39%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Power plants construction' (26%) and 'Energy efficiency' (23%). For SDG 11 contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (100%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Railway infrastructures development' (50%) and 'Use of electric vehicles' (25%).

For SDG 7 contributions relate to Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (67%) and Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (33%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (57%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (29%). For SDG 17 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '17.1 Strengthen domestic resource mobilization, including revenue collection' (14%) and Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (14%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Financial resource mobilization' (33%) and '(Need for) additional financial resources' (17%).
