The first NDC submission of Senegal contributes the most to SDG 2 'No Hunger' (22%) and SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (17%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (79%) and Target '2.5 Maintain genetic diversity and traditional knowledge' (14%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Climate-smart and sustainable agriculture' (29%) and 'Food production' (9%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (47%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (47%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (26%) and 'Energy efficiency' (23%).
