Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (36%) and 'Solar energy' (14%). For SDG 11 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (50%) and Target '11.3 Inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participatory planning' (20%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Air quality improvement' (25%) and 'Urban planning' (25%).
The updated NDC submission of Bahrain contributes the most to SDG 14 'Life below Water' (31%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (31%). For SDG 14 contributions relate to Target '14.2 Protect and restore marine and coastal ecosystems' (80%) and Target '14.7 Increase economic benefits of Small Island Developing States from sustainable use of marine resources' (20%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Mangroves protection' (50%) and 'Coastal management, conservation and rehabilitation' (25%). For SDG 15 contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (75%) and Target '15.9 Integrate ecosystem values into national policy planning' (25%).
