The first NDC submission of Thailand contributes highly, among others, to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (17%) and SDG 2 'No Hunger' (13%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (57%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (29%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (38%) and 'Energy efficiency' (25%). For SDG 2 contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (80%) and Target '2.1 End hunger in all its forms' (20%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Climate-smart and sustainable agriculture' (60%) and 'Improved food security' (20%).

The updated NDC submission of Thailand contributes the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (35%) and SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (16%). For SDG 13 contributions relate to Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (57%) and Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (43%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Adaptive capacity enhancement' (40%) and 'Awareness-raising on climate change impacts' (30%). For SDG 17 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '17.6 Enhance global cooperation: technology, science and innovation' (29%) and Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (21%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Capacity building in developing countries' (36%) and '(Need for) technology transfer' (29%).
