The first NDC submission of Dominican Republic contributes the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (21%) and SDG 8 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' (14%). For SDG 13 the highest contributions relate to Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (40%) and Target '13.2 Integrate climate measures in national policy making' (40%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Mainstreaming' (33%) and 'Adaptive capacity enhancement' (17%). For SDG 8 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '8.2 Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through various measures' (33%) and Target '8.4 Promote resource efficiency to decouple growth and degradation' (33%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Low-carbon economy' (50%) and 'Sustainable tourism development' (50%).

Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Awareness-raising on climate change impacts' (29%) and 'Mainstreaming' (24%). For SDG 11 the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (50%) and Target '11.5 Disaster risk management' (19%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Public transport access' (34%) and 'Use of electric vehicles' (19%).
