For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (61%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (36%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (23%) and 'Solar energy' (9%). For SDG 11 the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (41%) and Target '11.3 Inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participatory planning' (31%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Urban planning' (32%) and 'Low-carbon shipping' (14%).

The updated NDC submissions of countries in BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) contribute the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (36%) and SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (20%). For SDG 13 the highest contributions relate to Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (48%) and Target '13.2 Integrate climate measures in national policy making' (30%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Strengthened institutional capacity for adaptation' (26%) and 'Adaptive capacity enhancement' (21%). For SDG 17 the highest contributions relate to Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (24%) and Target '17.2 Developed countries to fulfill ODA commitments' (20%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Financial resource mobilization' (27%) and '(Need for) additional financial resources' (27%).
