For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (61%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (36%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (23%) and 'Solar energy' (9%). For SDG 11 the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (41%) and Target '11.3 Inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participatory planning' (31%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Urban planning' (32%) and 'Low-carbon shipping' (14%).
The updated NDC submissions of countries in BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) contribute the most to SDG 9 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure' (16%) and SDG 13 'Climate Action' (15%). For SDG 9 the highest contributions relate to Target '9.2 Sustainable industrialisation and raise employment and GDP' (31%) and Target '9.1 Develop resilient and sustainable infrastructure with access for all' (27%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Green industry' (17%) and 'Resilient infrastructures' (16%). For SDG 13 the highest contributions relate to Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (43%) and Target '13.2 Integrate climate measures in national policy making' (30%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Disaster and risk reduction' (21%) and 'Strengthened institutional capacity for adaptation' (17%).
