The first NDC submission of Ethiopia contributes highly, among others, to SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (18%) and SDG 2 'No Hunger' (13%). For SDG 17 the highest contributions relate to Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (38%) and Target '17.6 Enhance global cooperation: technology, science and innovation' (38%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Financial resource mobilization' (36%) and '(Need for) technology transfer' (36%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (50%) and Target '2.1 End hunger in all its forms' (40%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Improved food security' (15%) and 'Food production' (15%).

The updated NDC submission of Ethiopia contributes the most to SDG 2 'No Hunger' (18%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (18%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (58%) and Target '2.3 Increase agricultural productivity for small-scale producers' (33%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Food production' (27%) and 'Increased agriculture productivity' (27%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (67%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (25%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Forest management' (32%) and 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (26%).
