For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (86%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (9%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'REDD+ Implementation' (24%) and 'Afforestation' (24%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (50%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (33%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (23%) and 'Solar energy' (15%).
The updated NDC submission of Panama contributes the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (45%) and SDG 12 'Responsible Consumption and Production' (13%). For SDG 13 contributions relate to Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (62%) and Target '13.2 Integrate climate measures in national policy making' (38%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Strengthened institutional capacity for adaptation' (38%) and 'Strengthened institutional capacity for mitigation' (34%). For SDG 12 contributions relate to Target '12.2 Effiecient and sustainable use of natural resources' (50%) and Target '12.6 Encourage private sector to adopt sustainable practices' (50%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Sustainable production measures' (29%) and 'Sustainable consumption measures' (29%).
