The first NDC submission of Armenia contributes the most to SDG 8 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' (15%) and SDG 13 'Climate Action' (15%). For SDG 8 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '8.4 Promote resource efficiency to decouple growth and degradation' (50%) and Target '8.2 Achieve higher levels of economic productivity through various measures' (25%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Green economy' (50%) and 'Sustainable tourism development' (50%). For SDG 13 contributions relate to Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (67%) and Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (33%).

The updated NDC submission of Armenia contributes highly, among others, to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (41%) and SDG 5 'Gender Equality' (9%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (53%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (29%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (35%) and 'Energy efficiency' (19%). For SDG 5 contributions relate to Target '5.1 End discrimination against women' (100%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Integration of gender considerations in policy design' (67%) and 'Female participation' (33%).
