The first NDC submission of Türkiye contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (27%) and SDG 9 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure' (24%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (50%) and Target '7.1 Access to affordable, reliable and modern energy for all' (30%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Power plants construction' (21%) and 'Access to energy' (14%). For SDG 9 the highest contributions relate to Target '9.1 Develop resilient and sustainable infrastructure with access for all' (44%) and Target '9.4 Upgrade infrastructure, increase resource efficiency and adopt clean technologies' (44%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Sustainable transport' (33%) and 'Efficient use of resources' (27%).

The updated NDC submission of Türkiye contributes highly, among others, to SDG 9 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure' (23%) and SDG 2 'No Hunger' (14%). For SDG 9 the highest contributions relate to Target '9.4 Upgrade infrastructure, increase resource efficiency and adopt clean technologies' (42%) and Target '9.2 Sustainable industrialisation and raise employment and GDP' (35%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Infrastructures upgrade' (24%) and 'Sustainable transport' (20%). For SDG 2 contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (94%) and Target '2.3 Increase agricultural productivity for small-scale producers' (6%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Fertilizer use' (20%) and 'Increased agriculture productivity' (15%).
