For SDG 7 contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (50%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (50%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (23%) and 'Efficient appliances' (15%). For SDG 11 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (50%) and Target '11.1 Universal access to safe housing and basic services' (25%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Public transport access' (25%) and 'Safe and adequate housing' (25%).
The updated NDC submission of Kuwait contributes the most to SDG 14 'Life below Water' (35%) and SDG 6 'Clean Water and Sanitation' (26%). For SDG 14 the highest contributions relate to Target '14.5 Conserve coastal and marine areas' (43%) and Target '14.2 Protect and restore marine and coastal ecosystems' (29%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Coastal management, conservation and rehabilitation' (45%) and 'Sustainable fishery management and fishing techniques' (36%). For SDG 6 contributions relate to Target '6.4 Increase water-use efficiency and sustainable withdrawal - reduce water scarcity' (100%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Water management' (30%) and 'Water re-use' (20%).
