The first NDC submission of Bahamas contributes the most to SDG 15 'Life on Land' (22%) and SDG 9 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure' (15%). For SDG 15 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (50%) and Target '15.1 Conserve, restore and sustainbly use inland freshwater ecosystems' (20%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (18%) and 'Forest management' (18%). For SDG 9 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '9.4 Upgrade infrastructure, increase resource efficiency and adopt clean technologies' (60%) and Target '9.1 Develop resilient and sustainable infrastructure with access for all' (20%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Resilient infrastructures' (17%) and 'Sustainable transport' (17%).

The updated NDC submission of Bahamas contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (44%) and SDG 11 'Sustainable Cities and Communities' (14%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (54%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (35%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (18%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (16%). For SDG 11 contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (86%) and Target '11.6 Reduce environmental impact of cities (air quality, waste)' (14%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Use of electric vehicles' (63%) and 'Clean fuel and fuel efficiency' (25%).
