The updated NDC submission of United Kingdom contributes highly, among others, to SDG 12 'Responsible Consumption and Production' (24%) and SDG 5 'Gender Equality' (12%). For SDG 12 the highest contributions relate to Target '12.4 Reduce release of waste and chemicals' (57%) and Target '12.8 Ensure universal knowledge on sustainable lifestyles' (21%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Sustainable consumption measures' (38%) and 'Sustainable lifestyles' (38%). For SDG 5 contributions relate to Target '5.5 Women's leadership at all levels' (57%) and Target '5.1 End discrimination against women' (43%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Female participation' (57%) and 'Integration of gender considerations in policy design' (29%).
