Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of)

The first NDC submission of Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of) contributes the most to SDG 15 'Life on Land' (15%) and SDG 11 'Sustainable Cities and Communities' (14%). For SDG 15 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (38%) and Target '15.5 Halt loss of habitat and biodiversity, and prevent species extinction' (21%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (30%) and 'Biodiversity protection' (26%). For SDG 11 the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (50%) and Target '11.3 Inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participatory planning' (27%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Urban planning' (41%) and 'Public transport access' (24%).
