The first NDC submission of Cuba contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (36%) and SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (12%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (47%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (41%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (26%) and 'Solar energy' (11%). For SDG 17 the highest contributions relate to Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (30%) and Target '17.6 Enhance global cooperation: technology, science and innovation' (30%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to '(Need for) technology transfer' (25%) and 'Financial resource mobilization' (17%).

For SDG 14 the highest contributions relate to Target '14.5 Conserve coastal and marine areas' (50%) and Target '14.2 Protect and restore marine and coastal ecosystems' (36%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Coastal management, conservation and rehabilitation' (33%) and 'Coastal erosion prevention' (22%).
