For SDG 15 contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (50%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (50%).

The updated NDC submission of the European Union (submitted collectively) contributes the most to SDG 16 'Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions' (24%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (19%). For SDG 16 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '16.6 Develop effective, accountable and transparent institutions' (60%) and Target '16.3 Promote rule of law and equal access to justice for all' (20%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Institutions effectiveness' (45%) and 'Institutions accountability' (27%). For SDG 15 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (43%) and Target '15.1 Conserve, restore and sustainbly use inland freshwater ecosystems' (14%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Forest management' (100%).
