The first NDC submission of Saint Kitts and Nevis contributes the most to SDG 6 'Clean Water and Sanitation' (26%) and SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (22%). For SDG 6 contributions relate to Target '6.4 Increase water-use efficiency and sustainable withdrawal - reduce water scarcity' (100%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Efficient use of water' (43%) and 'Water desalinisation' (14%). For SDG 7 contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (67%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (33%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (29%) and 'Efficient appliances' (14%).

The updated NDC submission of Saint Kitts and Nevis contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (32%) and SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (20%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (70%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (20%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (39%) and 'Solar energy' (17%). For SDG 17 the highest contributions relate to Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (43%) and Target '17.16 Enhance the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships' (29%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Capacity building in developing countries' (40%) and '(Need for) additional financial resources' (20%).
