The first NDC submission of Switzerland contributes highly, among others, to SDG 8 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' (33%) and SDG 9 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure' (33%). For SDG 8 contributions relate to Target '8.4 Promote resource efficiency to decouple growth and degradation' (100%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Low-carbon economy' (100%). For SDG 9 contributions relate to Target '9.1 Develop resilient and sustainable infrastructure with access for all' (50%) and Target '9.4 Upgrade infrastructure, increase resource efficiency and adopt clean technologies' (50%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Infrastructures upgrade' (25%) and 'Sustainable transport' (25%).

The updated NDC submission of Switzerland contributes highly, among others, to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (30%) and SDG 8 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' (20%). For SDG 7 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (50%) and Target '7.1 Access to affordable, reliable and modern energy for all' (25%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Hydropower' (22%) and 'Energy efficiency' (22%). For SDG 8 contributions relate to Target '8.10 Strengthen financial institutions and access to financial services and insurance' (100%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Access to finance' (67%) and 'Low-carbon economy' (33%).
