The first NDC submission of Palestine contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (22%) and SDG 6 'Clean Water and Sanitation' (18%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (39%) and Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (35%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (26%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (18%). For SDG 6 the highest contributions relate to Target '6.1 Universal and equitable access to drinking water' (54%) and Target '6.4 Increase water-use efficiency and sustainable withdrawal - reduce water scarcity' (38%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Water supply' (17%) and 'Rainwater harvesting' (13%).

The updated NDC submission of Palestine contributes the most to SDG 9 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure' (15%) and SDG 12 'Responsible Consumption and Production' (8%). For SDG 9 contributions relate to Target '9.4 Upgrade infrastructure, increase resource efficiency and adopt clean technologies' (75%) and Target '9.1 Develop resilient and sustainable infrastructure with access for all' (25%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Infrastructures upgrade' (30%) and 'Sustainable transport' (30%). For SDG 12 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '12.4 Reduce release of waste and chemicals' (40%) and Target '12.2 Effiecient and sustainable use of natural resources' (30%).
