The first NDC submission of Georgia contributes the most to SDG 15 'Life on Land' (25%) and SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (18%). For SDG 15 contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (75%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (25%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Afforestation' (25%) and 'Deforestation prevention' (25%). For SDG 17 contributions relate to Target '17.6 Enhance global cooperation: technology, science and innovation' (83%) and Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (17%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to '(Need for) technology transfer' (71%) and 'Financial resource mobilization' (14%).

The updated NDC submission of Georgia contributes highly, among others, to SDG 5 'Gender Equality' (19%) and SDG 13 'Climate Action' (15%). For SDG 5 the highest contributions relate to Target '5.1 End discrimination against women' (30%) and Target '5.5 Women's leadership at all levels' (30%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Female participation' (40%) and 'Integration of gender considerations in policy design' (40%). For SDG 13 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (50%) and Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (25%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Mainstreaming' (30%) and 'Adaptive capacity enhancement' (20%).
