For SDG 15 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (50%) and Target '15.1 Conserve, restore and sustainbly use inland freshwater ecosystems' (25%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (33%) and 'Afforestation' (33%).
The updated NDC submission of Iceland contributes the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (46%) and SDG 16 'Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions' (31%). For SDG 13 contributions relate to Target '13.2 Integrate climate measures in national policy making' (83%) and Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (17%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Strengthened institutional capacity for mitigation' (50%) and 'Strengthened institutional capacity for adaptation' (25%). For SDG 16 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '16.7 Ensure responsive, inclusive and participatory decision-making' (50%) and Target '16.3 Promote rule of law and equal access to justice for all' (17%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Institutions legitimacy' (50%) and 'Rule of law' (25%).
