The first NDC submission of Eritrea contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (31%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (13%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (46%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (44%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (29%) and 'Solar energy' (13%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (40%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (30%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (28%) and 'Forest management' (22%).
