The first NDC submission of Angola contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (19%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (19%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (77%) and Target '7.1 Access to affordable, reliable and modern energy for all' (15%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (21%) and 'Hydropower' (14%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (53%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (40%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Afforestation' (20%) and 'Deforestation prevention' (20%).

The updated NDC submission of Angola contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (25%) and SDG 13 'Climate Action' (15%). For SDG 7 contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (90%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (10%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (37%) and 'Power plants construction' (19%). For SDG 13 the highest contributions relate to Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (50%) and Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (42%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Awareness-raising on climate change impacts' (29%) and 'Disaster and risk reduction' (29%).
