The first NDC submissions of countries in Oceania contribute the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (31%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (11%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (54%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (32%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (20%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (18%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (46%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (26%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Deforestation prevention' (16%) and 'Conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystems' (13%).

The updated NDC submissions of countries in Oceania contribute the most to SDG 13 'Climate Action' (13%) and SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (10%). For SDG 13 the highest contributions relate to Target '13.1 Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related and natural disasters' (46%) and Target '13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change issues' (29%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Disaster and risk reduction' (21%) and 'Adaptive capacity enhancement' (18%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (45%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (43%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (21%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (19%).
