The first NDC submission of Jamaica contributes highly, among others, to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (23%) and SDG 3 'Good health and well-being' (14%). For SDG 7 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (60%) and Target '7.1 Access to affordable, reliable and modern energy for all' (20%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (43%) and 'Access to energy' (14%). For SDG 3 contributions relate to Target '3.8 Access to universal health care and medicines' (100%). Here, climate actions are related to 'Contingency health strategy development' (75%) and 'Climate-induced health risks prevention' (25%).
The updated NDC submission of Jamaica contributes the most to SDG 17 'Partnerships for the Goals' (27%) and SDG 2 'No Hunger' (20%). For SDG 17 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '17.7 Promote development and diffusion of environmental sustainable technologies to developing countries' (33%) and Target '17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources' (17%). Here, the main climate actions are related to '(Need for) technology transfer' (22%) and 'Partnership' (22%). For SDG 2 contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (100%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Climate-smart and sustainable agriculture' (50%) and 'Food storage' (17%).
